INNOVATE

SWANA's research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) efforts are the spark that ignites the cutting-edge training, and educational programs that make today's trends into tomorrow's emerging technologies.

At the forefront of this effort is SWANA's Applied Research Foundation. This subscriber-based group has redefined the concept of collective research and has already staked out a central role in the debate about bioreactors by publishing "The Landfill Manager's Guide to the Bioreactor."

Part of our efforts include recognizing those who come up with the ideas that are changing waste management. Our award programs recognize those whose contributions have stood out above all others. To win one of these coveted awards is a sign that you are a "mover and a shaker" in your field.
