Professionals who have earned their SWANA Landfill Certification have demonstrated superior knowledge and understanding in their field.  In fact, SWANA's MOLO Certification Program is so highly regarded that numerous states, throughout North America, now accept successful completion of this program in lieu of their own certification requirements. 

As with all of SWANA's Certification Programs, a MOLO "prep course" is offered. This 3-Day course covers all of the various topics included in the certification exam and will provide a more in depth understanding of the planning, design, and management of municipal solid waste landfills.

All you need to become SWANA Bioreactor Certified is an active MOLO Certification. 

FAQ's - Frequently Asked Questions

I want to become Bioreactor Landfill Certified, but I am not MOLO Certified.  Can I still take Bioreator Exam?

You will need to take BOTH exams.  Not to worry, however, SWANA now offers two (2) Testing Centers per event,  though the second exam is often by appointment.  You can sign up for the MOLO Exam during the Morning Session of the Testing Center, and then take the Bioreactor Exam in the Afternoon.  Remember, the 3-Day Training Courses are not required for Certification, however, they do reinforce what you already know.  If you pass BOTH exams, you will become SWANA MOLO Certified and SWANA Bioreactor Certified!
