SWANA CEO ADDRESSES ISWA CONGRESS ON CLIMATE, ENERGY & WASTE Tuesday, September 25, 2007 (1331 reads)
Silver Spring, MD (September 25, 2007) – Solid Waste Association of North America’s (SWANA) Executive Director and CEO, John H. Skinner, Ph.D., addressed the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) World Waste Congress on September 25, 2007 in Amsterdam, Netherland. In a session on Global Climate Control Policies, Dr. Skinner presented his paper entitled “The Changing Political Climate in North America: Energy, Warming and Waste.” Skinner discussed the increased support of governments and industry in the U.S. & Canada to respond to global warming and climate change.
