SWANA’s Innovation Award:

SWANA’s Innovation Award recognizes new ideas and methods for managing today’s waste stream.  Only one Innovation Award is given each year.  SWANA selects the winner from the nominations submitted for the categories above, eliminating the need for a separate application.

Winner Recognition:

All winners are publicly recognized and presented with their award at an Awards Luncheon held each year at WASTECON.  The winners are also highlighted in SWANA press releases, in SWANA publications, including MSW Solutions and TechNews, and in the solid waste industry's flagship publication, MSW Management.

Excellence Award winners are also featured in conference proceedings and are often invited to speak on their program at SWANA’s specialty symposia and WASTECON.  In short, the NATIONAL recognition you will receive as an award winner will sure to boost your reputation and prominence as a leader in the industry.

How to Apply:

There are three components to your Excellence Awards nomination: Nomination Form, Program/Facility Description Text and Nomination Fee.
