Get members only advocacy updates and have a hand in guiding SWANA's legislative and regulatory efforts to advance the environmentally and economically sound management of MSW. Members of SWANA also have an opportunity to join our Applied Research Foundation, whch guides research to further the practice.

Membership Dues Categories - Your first year's dues includes your SWANA chapter dues.

New Public Sector Individual Membership: $183
Currently working for a City/Township, State, County, Municipality, Government, of University.

New Private Sector Individual Membership: $343
Curently working for a private company or organization with an annual gross revenue greater than $10 million per year and more than 5 employees.

New *Small Hauler/Consultant/Distributor Individual Membership: $243
*Small Hauler - Any independent solid waste hauling company with annual gross revenue of less than $10 million.
*Small Consultant - Any independent consultant for municipal solid waste practices with five (5) of fewer full-time employees.
*Small Distributor - Any distributorship with ten (10) or fewer employees.

Student Member: $62
Copy of current class schedule is required for student membership.

Retired Member: $72

Membership dues is subject to change without notice. Membership renewals may include additional chapter membership fees.

All individuals signing up for SWANA membership and who have their membership payment posted in our system will be receiving membership ID cards (30)days from the date of joining.

The CND exchange rate is calculated monthly for payment by check. If you pay for membership via credit card, the exchange rate is calculated the day of the transaction.
